Brewing Barakah

A non-profit community organization based out of Missouri — dedicated to growing spiritual programs and social events for Muslims across the Midwest.

Rooted in worship, reflection, and return to Allah.
Learning that goes deep, with scholars who go further.
Belonging that travels with you, wherever you go.
Najm exists for one reason: to raise the bar of Muslim community life across the Midwest.
We believe that Islam isn’t just practiced in private — it’s lived in community. Through consistent programming, meaningful gatherings, and a growing network of masajid and MSAs across ten states, we’re building something that lasts.
Our vision is simple: a connected, spiritually rooted Muslim community that knows its purpose, grows together, and never stops returning to Allah.

We bring scholars and teachers from across the United States to serve and guide communities throughout the Midwest — including Shaykh Mikaeel Smith, Mufti Muntasir, Qari Noman Hossain, and many more. Depth without distance.

Through regional collaboration events with the Human Development Fund (HDF) and partner MSAs, our community has raised over $200,000 for humanitarian relief efforts in Gaza, Sudan, Syria, and beyond — proof of what the Midwest can do together.

From Brewing Barakah to Illuminated and Nights with Najm, we provide consistent, welcoming spaces for Muslims to understand their deen, deepen their practice, and build friendships rooted in faith.

From national speakers to halaqahs and regional collaborations — we’d love to partner with masajid and MSAs across the Midwest.
My time at the Najm event was amazing. The crowd was engaged, the energy was beautiful, and we shared some genuinely enlightening moments together. From start to finish it was a beautiful experience.
If I had to sum up the halaqah in one word, it would be insightful. Genuinely eye-opening. It gave me a fresh perspective and left me reflecting well after it ended.
The talk at this program really spoke to me. It addressed personal struggles and the things people quietly go through, and it resonated deeply. At one point it honestly felt like the speaker was talking directly about me and my own life.
